Pickit wins 1st place at Microsoft's Office App Awards

Tonight, at the Microsoft Ignite conference in Atlanta, our Office Add-in nabbed 1st place in the most prestigious prize category – Best User Interface at the Microsoft Office App Awards 2016.

The awards are held once a year with participants including DocuSign, Starbucks, Uber, Shutterstock, and Giphy. Following a grueling process of narrowing down the winners out of such a large pool of excellent apps, Pickit rose to the top as a finalist for the second year in a row, this time winning the gold.

The 2016 Office App Awards praised the Pickit Office Add-in for providing seamlessly smooth add-in experience. In particular, the easy-to-install task pane that allows users to browse themed photo, free clipart, and 3D image collections right inside Word and PowerPoint has proven popular. It makes it easier than ever to build compelling presentations and documents in a matter of minutes.

Winning Best User Interface award is a nice reminder that our services are hitting the spot and helping people make their work matter.

And we’re just getting started. Today, we released the first version of Pickit Me, our most personalized image service to date. Pickit Me users can create and curate their own image collections and choose from multiple add-ons to further personalize the service, all while enjoying an ad-free user experience.

Stop by the Microsoft Appsource, download the most user-friendly app in the store and get busy spicing up your presentations with thousands of high-quality images.
